NEIGHBOR TO NEIGHBOR APPOINTMENT OF NEW CEO

 

Neighbor to Neighbor (N2N) is pleased to announce the appointment of their new CEO Erin Walters effective November 1.  

 

“We are excited to welcome Erin to Neighbor to Neighbor” said Anita Brooks, Board President.  “She brings a wealth of nonprofit and for-profit leadership and management experience to the organization.  She is a results-driven leader who has served as an agent of change and growth.”

 

Most recently Erin was Operations Manager with Tidelands Health; prior to that she was Director of Operations with Habitat for Humanity of Horry County where her team was instrumental in increasing the profitability of the Habitat ReStore.  Erin is a graduate of Francis Marion University’s Fred Sheheen Nonprofit Leadership Institute and Leadership Grand Strand.  She also served as the Chair of the Waccamaw Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (VOAD) for three years and is greatly respected by the community.

 

Erin stated, “I am inspired by the team’s passion for Neighbor to Neighbor’s mission and honored to be given the responsibility alongside invaluable volunteers working to further N2N’s impact on transportation needs for adults in our growing community.”

 

Since2008, Neighbor to Neighbor has provided safe and reliable transportation for seniors and adults with disabilities through direct service and diverse strategic partnerships in Horry, Georgetown, and Williamsburg Counties in South Carolina and in Brunswick County, North Carolina.  N2N works to achieve, expand, and bring together community members, leaders, and institutions for the common purpose of promoting independence, relieving isolation, and connecting homebound adults to their community through transportation and technology.  For additional information, please visit the website: n2ncarolinas.org.
